An Irish version of the popular BBC quiz show, The Weakest Link, is the highlight of the Autumn schedule announced today by the State's independent broadcaster, TV3.
The hour-long programme, presented by controversialist Eamon Dunphy, begins its run on Monday 17th and will be pitted against RTE One's Eastenders, which was introduced by the State broadcaster after it lost Coronation Street to TV3.
A feature-length dramatisation of the Bloody Sunday massacre is slated for airing early in the new year. It will be a co-production in association with Jim Sheridan, director of The Fieldand My Left Foot.
