Traffic restrictions are in place daily from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m on the Westlink Toll Bridge while a windshielding system is being installed. The Canal Bridge will be closed for the next fortnight for ongoing work on the Killeen Road.

There will also be major restrictions on the Monkstown Road until the end of the month due to roadworks.

Peak-time traffic heading out of Dublin city will be severely affected at Harold's Cross Road in Kimmage due to road works, which will continue for the next eight weeks. Major delays are also expected on Charlemont Street close to the Harcourt Road junction. Traffic is reduced to one lane both ways due to major drainage works.

There will also be single-lane traffic inbound on the Loughlinstown dual carriageway between Wyattville Road and the Loughlinstown roundabout from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. for the next two weeks while drainage works are taking place. The junction of Emmet Road and Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore is reduced to one lane for inbound traffic today for emergency gas works.

There are waterworks on Killiney Hill Road for the next eight weeks just south of the Victoria Road junction to the junction of Ballinclea Road. A section of the road is closed from the Druid's Chair pub to the Strathmore Road junction.

A one-way system is in place on the Leopardstown Road until mid-December. Traffic flow is westbound only from Whites Cross to the Brewery Road roundabout. Eastbound traffic is advised to divert via Brewery Road and the N11.

All westbound traffic on the Lucan bypass is subject to a contraflow system between Deadmans Inn junction and Fonthill junction. It will be in place until Christmas when roadworks are completed.

In Cork, Castle Street is closed with access to business vehicles only and Maylor Street and Caroline Street will remain closed until the end of September for pavement works and service renewals.

The Mallow to Mitchelstown Road will be closed to traffic daily between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. for roadworks between its junction with Barrack Road in Mitchelstown and Glenahulla Crossroads.

In Waterford city, traffic on Rice Bridge is reduced to a single lane due to ongoing roadworks. There will be single-lane traffic on the eastbound carriageway of the Athlone bypass with temporary diversions at interchanges for the six months.

There are roadworks in place on the N16 Sligo to Enniskillen Road four miles west of Manorhamilton.

The national secondary N74 Tipperary to Cashel Road is closed at Kilfeacle for about two weeks between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Wexford Bridge is closed for the next 10 weeks for major reconstruction and essential repairs. Traffic should divert around the ring road.

In Co Donegal, work is ongoing for the next 18 months on the Donegal bypass. There will be temporary traffic lights in use on the N1 about one kilometre north of Donegal for the next two months.
