Dublin

Roadworks are being carried out on the Kimmage Road from Walkinstown roundabout to Cromwellsfort Road to the junction of Kimmage Road West Lower. Ongoing work on the South Clondalkin Quality Bus Corridor is affecting Werburgh Street, Nicholas Street, Patrick Street, Bride Street, Crumlin Road and Drimnagh Lane.

The North Clondalkin Quality Bus Corridor work is affecting traffic on Cornmarket/Lamb Alley, Thomas Street, Thomas Street West, James's Street, Sarsfield Road/Ballyfermot Road, Grattan Crescent, Meath Street and Francis Street.

Traffic is reduced to one lane outbound on the Ballymun Road between Ballymun roundabout and Collins Avenue due to the laying of sewer mains.

Resurfacing is in place on Kill Lane and disruption is likely.

Cork

Avoid Merchant's Quay if possible as it is reduced to two lanes. Lavitt's Quay is reduced to a single lane westbound between St Patrick's Bridge and Christy Ring Bridge.

Kildare

Roadworks continue on the N9 Moone-Timolin-Ballitore bypass. Temporary traffic lights are in place at Moone and north of Timolin village.

Galway

Disruption is likely on the N18 due to roadworks from the Quality Hotel at Oranmore towards Claregalway.

Kilkenny

Delays are likely on the N9 road at Gowran as roadworks continue. Traffic control measures are in operation.

Mullinavat is also experiencing disruption due to the installation of a surface water drain.

Sligo

Restrictions are in place with a 20-mph speed limit on the N17, south of Collooney.

Iarnrod Eireann

Engineering works are continuing on the Westport route, so trains from all stations have earlier departure times. For more information, contact 1850 366222.

There will be disruption to DART services between Dun Laoghaire and Bray from 10 p.m. on Saturday to noon on Sunday. A limited shuttle bus will be in operation.

There were five road deaths in the past week, bringing the total this year to 327.
