Dublin: Roadworks are taking place on the Ballymun Road north of the M50 and there will be single lane traffic at times. Some drivers use this route as a short cut from the M50 to the airport, but it should be avoided as long delays are expected over the next five weeks.

A new traffic layout is in place on the Naas dual carriageway outbound between Aermotive and the Poitin Stil public house. Traffic is reduced to a single lane and long delays are inevitable. Meanwhile, a new third lane has opened on the Naas Road going outbound between Newlands Cross and Saggart.

On the main road into the Phoenix Park a new roundabout is being constructed at the turn-off for the zoo, causing delays back to Conyngham Road.

In connection with the new Quarry Vale Centre and road improvements, a 40 m.p.h. speed limit is in place between Newcastle Road and the M50 interchange. All westbound traffic on the Lucan bypass is subject to a contra-flow system between the Deadman's Inn junction and the Fonthill junction until Christmas.
