Dublin

Dublin

There are roadworks on the inbound carriageway of the Naas Road east of Rathcoole.

The new road layout, with two lanes, from Blake's Cross southwards to Lissenhall dual carriageway, has no right turn exiting at Turvey junction.

There will be roadworks and footpath works outbound on the Malahide Road.

Delays are expected as roadworks and temporary lights are in place for several weeks on the N1 at Julianstown, north of the Balbriggan by-pass.

Island Street between Bonham Street and Watling Street will be closed to through traffic, while Essex Street West is similarly closed. There is ducting work on the Ratoath Road/Broombridge Road.

There will be some outbound delays on the North Strand at the Five Lamps caused by road reconstruction.

Co Carlow

Roadworks in Kildavan at the Carlow/Wexford border, on the road between Carlow and Bunclody, continue to cause delays.

Westmeath

Resurfacing work on the N4 of Rathowen village with temporary lights continue.

Louth

One-way traffic and temporary lights will be in operation on the N2 through Collon village.

Work continues on the N2 north of Ardee.

Limerick

A new one-way traffic system is operating in Raheen industrial estate.

Roadworks continue on the N69 at Mungret and Clarina, with temporary lights. Roadworks on the N7 Limerick/Dublin Road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross will continue for six weeks. Traffic will be single lane from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturday.

There is no through road from Athlunkard Street to Baal's Bridge via Sir Harry's Mall.

Cork

Pope's Road is closed at the junction with Rathmore Park for the next three months. Travellers between Dillon's Cross and Blackpool should use Glen Avenue instead.

Waterford

Michael Street is now reserved for pedestrians.

Sligo

The remaining section of the N4 between Castlebaldwin and Ballinafad has opened.

Galway

Due to building work at the NUI, the entrance on the Newcastle Road has been closed with all the traffic now entering via University Road for the next year. There are roadworks on the Coast Road from Galway to Oranmore.

Antrim

There will be work on the A6, Main Street, Toome, until the end of February.

In Belfast, refurbishment of Albert Bridge continues. Two-lane traffic at peak hours and one lane at off-peak. Delays are expected.

Armagh

The A51 Madden Road in Tandragee is closed. Diversions are signposted.

Down

The B27 Kilkeel Road in Hilltown is closed. Diversions signposted.

Donegal

Roadworks on Main Street, Stranorlar, mean a one-way system and diversions are in place. There is work on the Donegal Road at Letterkenny.

Rail Information

Refurbishment of Connolly Station, Dublin, continues. There is a new station open in Kilcock. For the next 10 weeks, between Monday morning and Friday afternoon, all train services between Dublin and Galway will involve a bus transfer between Ballinasloe and Galway due to track upgrading work.
