Dundrum Road in Dublin will have single-lane traffic at times over the next three weeks due to Telecom Eireann works. Kilgobbin Road in Stepaside will be single-lane at times over the next six weeks, also for Telecom Eireann works.

Exchange Street Lower is closed until May 8th for pipelaying. Traffic will be diverted via Essex Street West.

Until April 28th a section of Rathgar Avenue from Kenilworth Square South to Harold's Cross will be closed because of Telecom Eireann work. Major disruption is expected.

Restrictions are in place on Kilmacud Road during construction of new cycle lanes. Traffic from Stillorgan to Dundrum is not affected, but the road is closed to eastbound traffic from Dundrum.

There is no access to Stillorgan or Sandyford Industrial Estates from Upper Kilmacud Road.

The ESB is laying pipes on Griffith Avenue between Tolka Estate Road and Ballygall Road. Motorists should expect delays.

Mount Pleasant Avenue between Belgrave Square and Richmond Hill is closed for the next four months.

Dublin Corporation's drainage division will be working on Harold's Cross Road for the next three months. Works continue on the inbound lane of the Loughlins town dual carriageway, with single-lane traffic during off-peak times.

Esat is conducting night work on Clare Street, Dawson Street, Duke Street, Fitz william Street Upper, St Stephen's Green North and Merrion Square North.

For the next six months, outbound traffic from Cork city to Rochestown, Carrigaline and Ringaskiddy will be restricted to a single lane from Douglas Bridge to Rochestown slip road. Work connected to the Cork main drainage scheme is taking place on the Lower Glanmire Road/Grattan Hill junction. Adelaide Street is closed to vehicles until June 19th.

In Galway, Shop Street is closed to all inbound and outbound traffic. The new route in the Salthill direction from the city is via Eyre Square South, Victoria Place, Queen Street, Dock Road and Spanish Parade. Roadworks are continuing on the Headford Road. In Limerick, there are road works at Hassetts Cross. The road surface is poor with many potholes so motorists are advised to drive with care.

Delays may be expected during peak times and off-peak times due to roadworks at Baal's Bridge.

There will be severe disruption on the Ballybofey Road leading out of Donegal between now and the middle of May as part of construction of the Donegal Bypass.

The current AA Roadwatch petrol survey shows an average national price per litre for ordinary leaded of 69.44p. Superleaded is 70.54p.

Ordinary unleaded (bought by 60 per cent of all motorists) is 58.66p. Diesel is 55.76p.
