Dublin

Roadworks on Churchtown Road Upper, on the old Stillorgan Road, and on the Carrickbrennan Road/Mounttown Road. As part of the Malahide quality bus corridor, there will be construction work on the North Strand road near Annesley Bridge.

A new traffic layout has been introduced on Milltown Road at the nine arches for work on the road realignment project. Drivers need to approach the area with caution. Castle Street will be closed for the next 20 weeks because of the work under way near Werburgh Street.

Roadworks continue on the Headford road near Quinnsworth.

Limerick

Roadworks on the LimerickDublin road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for the next eight months, with single-file traffic, and at Hassetts Cross. No through road from Athlunkard Street to Baal's Bridge via Sir Harry's Mall.

Kildare

Shaw Bridge, in Kilcock, is closed to heavy commercial vehicles until the end of August. An alternative route, via MaynoothBarberstown Cross, should be used by those intending to travel from or via Kilcock to Clane and Naas.

Waterford

A new traffic flow system has been introduced at Rice Bridge to help inbound traffic to the city. Roadworks continue on the Ferrybank side of Rice Bridge.

Williamstown Road is single lane from Farran Park to St Catherine's Grange, and there are waterworks on the Kilmeaden to Waterford city road.

Cork

A pedestrian bridge is being built on the Carrigrohane Road, and a section of South Main Street is closed between its junctions with Liberty Street and Washington Street. There are roadworks on the Bishopstown Road.

Meath

The Kenstown-Navan road is closed to through traffic from its junction with the Boyne Road, Navan.

Westmeath

Reconstruction work is under way at the Canal Bridge at the junction of the Dublin road and the Delvin road.

Leitrim

There are realignment works on the Sligo to Enniskillen road about four miles west of Manorhamilton.

Roscommon

Traffic on the Dublin-Sligo road is diverted on to the new road over the Curlew mountain. Traffic is diverted north of Boyle.

Donegal

Roadworks are continuing on the Ballybofey road leading out of Donegal town.

Louth

Shop Street in Drogheda is closed from its junction with Dyer Street to West Street. There are temporary traffic lights at Killineer, north of Drogheda.

Cavan

The Cootehill road has a diversion for the next month.

Monaghan

There will be resurfacing for the next four weeks on the N2 between Castleblayney and Carrickmacross at Broomfield.
