Aer Rianta expects in excess of 174,000 passengers passing through Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers are advised to use taxis or public transport to get to the airport.
Dublin
The North Circular Road gate at the Phoenix Park will be closed until July 19th. Delays are likely on Parkgate Street at peak times. Work will be carried out on the North Circular Road near St Peter's Church. Esat will be carrying out work over the next month on Fownes Street Lower, Beresford place, Cecilia Street and Dame Street.
Kellystown Road, Rathfarnham, will be closed until September 27th to facilitate the construction of the new motorway bridge.
A new layout of roadworks at the M50/Firhouse junction will affect southbound traffic. Bord Gais work will be in place on the Emmet Road, between Tyrconnell Road and Tyrconnell Avenue, until August 10th.
Clonskeagh Road will be reduced to one lane between Eglington Road and the bridge over the Dodder between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
York Street, between Mercer Street and Stephen's Green West, will be closed until July 15th for road works. Traffic at the junction of York Street and Mercer Street will be diverted via Mercer Street Upper and Cuffe Street. Work will take place outside peak times on Glasnevin Hill, Mobhi Road at Botanic Avenue, Richmond Road from Drumcondra Road Lower between Binns Bridge and Botanic Avenue.
Work will take place weeknights after 7 o'clock on the Blackrock bypass - severe delays can be expected.
Leeson Street Upper and Lower will have work on the QBC outside of the peak hours.
Until December 17th, Stocking Lane in Rathfarnham will be closed at the interface with the proposed route on the Southern Cross motorway. An alternative route is advised via the Edmonstown Road and the Mount Venus Road. A section of the Blanchardstown Road North will be closed from its junction with Ballycoolin crossroads until August 15th. Work will be carried out on Dorset Street Lower at the North Circular Road.
Westmeath The new N4/N6 Link Road is now open in Kinnegad.
Laois Resurfacing works take place in Abbeyleix until the end of November.
Louth There is ongoing work on the N2 north of Ardee.
Kildare Roadworks on Kilcullen Main Street will continue until the middle of July.
Cork
Bord Gais works continue on Lancaster Quay. As part of the Cork main drainage scheme, Bachelor's Quay will be closed between Devonshire West and Henry Street until mid-August. Until the end of August, parking is prohibited on Morrisons Quay from Trinity Bridge as far as the junction with Catherine Street.
To facilitate the Cork main drainage system, Boreenmana Road will be closed at the junction of Glencoo Lawn, Glencoo Gardens and Flaherty's Lane until August 26th.
Offaly
For the next five weeks there will be resurfacing work on the N7 at Dunkerrin, south-west of Roscrea.
Leitrim
Realignment works continue on the N16 Sligo/Enniskillen Road, about four miles west of Manorhamilton.
Derry
Roadworks will be in place until Monday on the A2 Strand Road at Meadwobank, Derry.
Donegal
Work continues until July 21st on the Donegal bypass on the N15, just south of Donegal town. Roadworks on the Sligo side of Donegal continue.
Belfast
Until the end of August, bus lane contra-flow works continue in the Corporation Street area. Diversions continue until the end of the year on Ribble Street and from Newtownards to Tamar Street due to building work.

Other travel information
Leixlip Confey railway station will be closed until August 3rd due to improvement work taking place on the Maynooth-Dublin route. Iarnrod Eireann suggests using Leixlip Louisa Bridge Station in the interim.
Due to improvement works there will be alterations to the timetables of Sligo rail service.
The Isle of Man ferry and the Super Seacat to Liverpool are now leaving Dublin Port from ferry terminal five.
