Dublin

Tomorrow and Sunday inbound traffic to Dublin Port on the North Wall Quay will be reduced to a single lane at Spencer Dock bridge. Manor Street and Stoneybatter inbound bus lane is closed for work on the QBC.

College Green/Anglesea Street bus lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. for cable laying.

Work on the city's main drainage scheme will close parts of Convent Avenue, Batchelor's Walk and William Street. Diversions are in place.

Limerick

Howley's Quay, Harvey's Quay and Honan's Quay will all be closed to northbound traffic. Local diversions are signposted.

Carlow

Single lane traffic is in place on the N9 Leighlinbridge bypass. Dublin/Waterford traffic should use the N78 via Athy and Castlecomer.

Kerry

The road between Sneem and Moll's Gap, the main tourist route to Killarney, is closed. Traffic is to divert via Kenmare.

Travel

Iarnrod Eireann: Tomorrow and Sunday alternative arrangements have been introduced for passengers travelling through Newbridge, Co Kildare due to track improvements.

Tomorrow passengers on the 18.25 Waterford/Dublin train will join the Galway/Dublin train at Kildare station, arriving in Dublin at 21.05. Passengers on the 17.30 Cork/Dublin train and the 18.30 Westport/ Dublin train will transfer trains at Portarlington.

On Sunday, bus transfers between Heuston and Kildare will operate at 8.30 Dublin/ Tralee; 9.10 Dublin/Galway; 9.55 Dublin/Waterford; 10.05 Dublin/Cork.

Road Deaths

A total of 279 people have been killed in road accidents so far this year, with nine killed in the week to Wednesday night.
