Dublin:
There will be major traffic disruption throughout the city on Sunday.
Southside: The Tesco Ireland/ Evening Herald Women's Mini Marathon starts at 3 p.m. The course route runs along Baggot Street, Merrion Square, Mount Street Bridge, Northumberland Road, Lansdowne Road, Shelbourne Road, Merrion Road, Nutley Lane, Stillorgan Road, Donnybrook, Morehampton Road, Leeson Street Upper, Leeson Street, and will finish at St Stephen's Green. Roads intersecting with marathon route will be closed before and during the race.
Northside: Croke Park will host the Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-finals with Kildare v Louth starting at 2.15 p.m. and Dublin v Wexford to start at 4 p.m. Motorists are advised to avoid the Croke Park area before and directly after the matches.
Westmeath:
Motorists travelling along the N4 from Mullingar and Kinnegad are advised to heed warning signs and speed ramps erected around roadworks.
Kildare:
Market Square in Kildare town is being pedestrianised. Southbound traffic can no longer turn right before the traffic lights.
Limerick:
Temporary traffic lights on the N20 Limerick/Cork road between Croom and Charleville.
Laois:
The road between the Kileshin Hotel and the Portlaoise General Hospital will be closed. Diversions are in place.
Kilkenny:
Delays expected on the N10 Kilkenny to Dublin road at Clara.
Galway:
Two sets of temporary traffic lights are in operation on the main Galway-Limerick road between the Oranmore roundabout and Clarinbridge.
Cork:
Ongoing roadworks continue along Washington Street, Beaumont Drive, Arcullen, Fairfield Avenue, Springfield Estate, Greenhills Estate and Churchfield Avenue. Delays expected on the N8 Cork road in Fermoy due to resurfacing work. The road connecting Killanully road with Rathmacullig West is closed. Diversions for east and westbound traffic.
Bus Eireann:
Special buses on Saturday to Curragh Races and on Sunday to Navan Races. All leave from Busaras, 1 1/2 hours before first race. £6 return.
Iarnrod Eireann:
An extra train for Clare v Tipperary Munster Senior Hurling Championships at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday, leaving Heuston Station at 9.35, nonstop to Cork arriving 12.20. Returns at 18.55 arriving 92.35. £26 return.
Aer Rianta:
More than 180,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers are advised to allow sufficient time to comply with security and checkin regulations.
