Dublin
Due to the Heineken Green Energy Weekend events, there will be traffic restrictions around Smithfield this afternoon and tomorrow. There will be no access through the area from 2.30 p.m. today, except for residents or business traffic.
From 5.30 p.m. today and tomorrow there will be no access to North King Street between the junctions of Church Street and Queen Street. Traffic will be diverted along North Brunswick Street. Parking will also be prohibited from 5.30 p.m. today and tomorrow in North King Street, Friary Avenue, Smithfield, Smithfield Terrace, Brown's Lane, New Church Street and Haymarket.
Landers Lane and Station Road in Sutton will be closed at the level crossing from 6 a.m. Saturday until Monday.
Meath
Delays are expected on the N2 and N3 in Co Meath over the weekend as the three-day Fairy house Easter Festival takes place from today. The first race is at 5.15 p.m.
Wexford
Delays expected on the N1 near Wexford as a two-day race meeting there begins this evening.
Cork
In Cork the coast road, Kilmichael East in Myrtleville, will be closed due to roadworks, from Fountainstown strand to Bunny Connellands from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until next Thursday.
Iarnrod Eireann
Heuston Station in Dublin will be closed from 11 p.m. this evening to noon on Monday, due to major redevelopment works. Bus transfers will be in operation: to Newbridge for those travelling to Cork or Kerry; to Sallins for those going to Galway, Westport and Limerick; to Athy for those travelling to Waterford.
Track renewal means there will be no DART service between Howth and Howth Junction tomorrow, Sunday or Monday. A limited bus transfer will operate. All other DART services will operate to a Sunday schedule on Monday.
Bus Services
Dublin Bus will operate a Sunday service on Monday and the usual Nitelink service over the weekend. Bus Eireann will operate a normal service today and tomorrow. Monday services generally as on Sundays.
Ferries
The Stena Line has said it expects to carry 40,000 passengers between last night and Tuesday, while Irish Ferries said that over the weekend it should carry 25,000 people between here and Britain, as well as another 4,000 passengers and 1,000 vehicles between here and France.
Aer Rianta
Aer Rianta expects 250,000 passengers to travel through Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports over the weekend.
Road Deaths
There were five road deaths in the last seven days, bringing the total for the year to 120.
