DUBLIN

DUBLIN

Traffic will be restricted on the M50, immediately south of the Naas Road interchange, tomorrow and Sunday. Traffic will be down to one to one lane from 8 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. on Monday, which is a bank holiday.

Heavy traffic is expected in the Leopardstown area tomorrow and on Monday for race meetings, between 2.30 p.m.-5.30 p.m. tomorrow and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Monday.

There will be major traffic disruption throughout the city on Monday, as 10,000 participants take part in the Adidas Dublin City Marathon. The race starts at 9 a.m. near the Four Courts, at the junction of Arran Quay and Church Street.

CORK

The 24th Cork Jazz Festival is not expected to cause road closures or diversions, though the large number of visitors to the city over the weekend will cause congestion.

Until November 4th, the Curaheen road will be closed from 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day, between the greyhound track and the bridge in Curaheen village.

East-bound traffic should go via Clash Road and Model Farm Road, while those travelling west should take the Melbourne Road, Model Farm Road or the Waterfall Road.

GALWAY

Two days of racing take place at Galway Racecourse this weekend, between 1.25 p.m. and 4.25 p.m. on Sunday and between 1.15 p.m. and 4.15 p.m. on Monday.

Roadworks will continue on Eyre Square until further notice.

CAVAN

Heavy traffic is expected on Monday around Breffni Park during the All-Ireland Minor Football match, which starts at 3.30 p.m.

KILDARE

Roadworks will be in place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. from Monday, on the N9 south of Kilcullen.

TIPPERARY

There will be ongoing traffic-calming works on the N8, at New Inn village.

Bus and train services will operate as normal today and tomorrow, while Sunday services will operate on Sunday and bank holiday Monday.

ROAD DEATHS

Ten people have died on the roads this week. Three hundred and twenty-six people have been killed so far this year.
