Good weather over the weekend is expected to increase traffic, especially near resorts. In Dublin, roundabout construction on the Milltown bridge and Maple Road is continuing. Night work is continuing on Charlemont Street, Bachelor's Walk, Patrick Street, Sir John Rogerson's Quay, and the Memorial Bridge.

There are roadworks on Ballinteer Road, the Merrion Road at Ballsbridge Terrace and on the Ballyroan Road in Rathfarnham.

There will also be roadworks on the Harold's Cross Road at Kimmage for the next 12 weeks.

In west Dublin, the eastbound bus lane is closed at St Loman's and a contra-flow is in place at Fonthill, due to works on the M50 as far as the Lucan interchange. All west-bound traffic on the Lucan by-pass is subject to a contraflow system between the Deadnman's Inn junction and the Fonthill junction.

A section of Main Street, Rathcoole, east of Beechwood Lawns, and as far as the Naas Road, is closed for about a year, due to the construction of an interchange at Saggart/Rathcoole. The old Naas Road, from Main Street, Rathcoole, to Beechwood Lawns, is closed temporarily because of the construction of the same interchange.

A one-way system operates on the Leopardstown Road from Whites Cross to the Brewery Road and the N11.

Roadworks are in place at Five Roads, south of Balbriggan, in north Co Dublin and on the N3, on the Dublin side of Dunshaughlin, Co Meath.

In Co Kildare, temporary traffic lights are in place at Clane, on the Clane Road. There is single lane traffic only on the east-bound carriageway of the Athlone by-pass in counties Westmeath/Roscommon. Temporary diversions are in place. There are roadworks on the N16, Sligo, to Enniskillen road, four miles west of Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim.

In Co Tipperary, roadworks and temporary lights are in operation on the N24, between Cahir and Bansha.
