Dermot Weld may give Grey Swallow outings at York and Leopardstown over the next six weeks before plotting a Stateside campaign for his stable star.
The colt, a winner of last year's Irish Derby, picked up a cut on his leg in the stalls at Newbury a week ago when running in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes and only finished seventh to Azamour.
He has now recovered and Weld is looking to give him his next race in the Juddmonte International at the Knavesmire on August 16th.
"He was a little bit sore after the race," Weld told At The Races. "He got quite a gash on his hind leg in the stalls. I don't think it was a reason for his run but he was quite sore on it after the race but he's perfect and back cantering.
"We'll look at the Juddmonte International and obviously the Irish Champion Stakes and then we'll decide whether he goes to America for races that his sire Daylami won like the Man O'War and those races, finishing up at the Breeders' Cup."
