James Durkan (17), from the Ballinagore club, takes over from the injured John Connellan at right corner forward. Connellan suffered a shoulder injury against Sligo.

David O'Shaughnessy, the 2004 Leinster winning captain, is not fully recovered from an Achilles injury and is named among the substitutes.

Galway are expected to name their side later tonight.
