A judge has told victims of soft tissue whiplash accidents that in the majority of cases recovery was in their own hands.

"There is little doctors can do for strained muscles," Judge James Carroll said in the Dublin Circuit Civil Court. He said if victims of such injuries carried out recommended exercises they could cured themselves.
