Irish Times equestrian correspondent Grania Willis has taken up a 15-month contract with the Hong Kong Jockey Club, venue providers for the 2008 Olympic equestrian sports.

Willis, who has worked for The Irish Times since 1980, will be working as public affairs consultant, with special responsibility for equestrian events. Her brief includes media relations in the build-up to the Olympics and Paralympics, and promotion of the new Hong Kong Jockey Club equestrian facilities.
