Singer Amy Winehouse has been freed from police custody after being cautioned for common assault.

The 24-year-old handed herself in at a Holborn police station in central London yesterday to face questioning by detectives.
She spent the night in the station before being freed today.
Scotland Yard said her arrest follows an allegation by a 38-year-old man that he was assaulted by a 24-year-old woman early on Wednesday morning in north London.
In a statement this morning, Ms Winehouse's spokesman said: "Amy Winehouse was questioned this morning at a London police station in connection to an incident in Camden in the early hours of April 23rd, 2008.
"She admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and
accepted a caution.
"Amy was fully co-operative with inquiries and apologised for the incident.
"She thanked the police for their professional handling of the matter. There
will be no further action taken. Amy is looking forward to continuing her work on new music in the studio."
The Grammy Award-winning singer's increasingly troubled private life and battle against drug addiction has overshadowed her recording success. It was revealed yesterday that Winehouse has amassed a fortune of £10 million (€12.7 million), according to the latest Sunday Timesrich list.
Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil (25), appeared in court yesterday charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to pub landlord James King of Risley, Derbyshire. A provisional trial date of June 2nd was set. He denies the charges.
