NFL review: Both Cork and Kerry survived early dismissals to end the week as the top two in the Allianz Football League Division One. Paul Kerrigan and Donncha O'Connor scored late points to snatch a win for the Rebels against Mayo at McHale Park in Castlebar after Mark Collins was sent off in the first half for an off the ball incident.

Mayo were ahead for much of the game, and led by five at one stage, but Kerrigan and O’Connor snatched a one-point win to send Cork second after Alan Dillon was sent off for the home side at the death.

At Fitzgerald Stadium, things were slightly more straight forward for the Kingdom, despite having Tomás O'Sé sent off in the 10th minute.

A Colm Begley goal for Laois in the second brought them to within one point but Declan O’Sullivan, Bryan Sheehan and Anthony Maher points helped the hosts to a four-point win that keeps them top of the Division One.
