A former security guard at Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch claimed today he saw the pop star perform oral sex on a young boy and passionately kiss him on the lips.
Ralph Chacon told Santa Maria court, California, that Jackson and Jordy Chandler took a shower together and then Jackson kissed the boy and sucked his nipples before engaging in oral sex.
Chandler received an alleged $20 million settlement from Jackson when he filed a civil suit in 1993. Criminal prosecutions were subsequently abandoned when the boy refused to testify.
Mr Chacon said he witnessed the incident through a window in late 1992 or early 1993 as he was doing the rounds on an overnight shift.
He said he heard laughter from the jacuzzi and saw Jackson and the boy leave the pool and go into the bathroom. He said he became curious because they were in there a long time.
The area was well lit, he said, and he saw them both standing there naked. "Mr Jackson was caressing the boy, the boy's hair. He moved down and started kissing him," Mr Chacon told the court, going on to explain that he continued down and kissed his penis.
Several weeks later, he claimed he saw Jackson kiss Chandler "passionately" on the lips and touch his groin area.
Mr Chacon is one of five former employees who sued Jackson for wrongful dismissal but were successfully counter-sued by the singer. The defence maintains they are testifying against him to settle a grudge.
Under cross-examination, the witness acknowledged he was ordered to pay $25,000 for allegedly stealing Jackson's property, which he claimed was only chocolate bars.
He also said that he and others were ordered to pay more than $1 million in legal expenses to Jackson but that he was exempt as he had filed for bankruptcy.
Chandler is not involved in the current trial and is not expected to testify. He is said to be living abroad.
