RACING: This afternoon's meeting at Wolverhampton has been abandoned following a 10.30am inspection.
Overnight snow meant clerk of the course Fergus Cameron was forced to call an 8.30am precautionary check.
The intitial inspection was inconclusive so Cameron decided to give the track an extra couple of hours to improve but was left with little option but to call off the meeting.
"Unfortunately the meeting is off. Conditions have improved but the track is still unraceable and there is an area in front of the stands which is not going to improve sufficiently to be fit for racing," said Cameron.
