Gardaí have made another arrest in their ongoing investigating into the shooting of a man in Darndale, Co Dublin, last night.
A 22- year-old woman was arrested this afternoon and is being held at Malahide garda station.
Earlier, gardai arrested a 24-year-old man in Coolock. He is being held at Coolock garda station. Both are being held under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act and can be held for up to 72 hours.
The victim, who is 21, was shot at Buttercup Park after 7pm when a gunman approached him as he was sitting in his car. It is believed a number of shots were fired, with one hitting the victim.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he is in a critical condition.
