Gardaí are seeking the public’s help in relation to an alleged serious assault on a woman in Aughoose, Ballina, Co Mayo over the June bank holiday weekend.
The incident happened between 11.30pm and 3am last Saturday night/Sunday morning at the Party against the Pipe Festival in the town.
A garda spokesman said a large number of people were at the festival and Gardaí are asking everyone who attended to make contact with them.
