A woman in her 20s remains critical in hospital after suffering serious smoke inhalation during a house fire in north Cork early yesterday. She was one of a group of five rescued from the rented house at Woodlawn in Watergrasshill when a fire broke out in the kitchen about 4.45 a.m. The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital where she was described as critical. Four men were taken to the South Infirmary, but were discharged. Another man is recovering in Cork University Hospital after suffering smoke inhalation during a fire in Ballincollig about 2.30 a.m. yesterday.
