A woman has died following a house fire in Limerick city.
Lavinia O’Halloran (30) was taken from the blaze at a house in Sexton Street on Monday evening.
The alarm was raised about 6pm and Ms O’Halloran was brought to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
She was later transferred to Cork University Hospital where she died from her injuries early yesterday morning.

The scene of the fire was sealed off for technical examination and gardaí in Roxboro are investigating the incident.
Gardaí believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
