A woman is in a critical condition in hospital today after sustaining serious head injuries in an assault at her Dublin home overnight.
The woman, in her mid-fifties, was assaulted at the house on Windmill Road in Crumlin. She was taken to St James's Hospital early this morning.
A Garda spokeswoman said a man is being questioned by gardaí about the attack.
