A woman was killed by a southbound DART train near Seapoint station in Co Dublin at 5.20 p.m. yesterday.
Trains between Booterstown and Dun Laoghaire stations were suspended until 6:45 p.m., causing major disruption for commuters. Southbound trains continued to run between Howth and Booters town, while northbound trains travelled from Bray to Dun Laoghaire as normal.
The woman's remains were removed by emergency services to Loughlinstown hospital.
