Luton - A woman had her dying wish granted when her cremated remains were blasted into the sky as part of a spectacular fireworks display. Mr Jon Culverhouse, managing director of Fantastic Fireworks, whose factory is near Luton, England, reportedly agreed to a customer's request to send off a friend in style.

He said the caller was the best friend of the woman who was only in her mid-30s when she died of an incurable disease. The remains were packed into 15 of the biggest rockets Fantastic Fireworks sells and fired during a party thrown by family and friends on Sunday.
