A woman who used a stolen cheque to obtain £216 from the Bank of Ireland received a onemonth suspended prison sentence yesterday.
Dublin District Court was told Victoria Byrne (21), of Birchview Heights, Tallaght, made out the stolen cheque to herself and received the money from the Bank of Ireland branch at Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Co Dublin, on February 7th.
