A 37-year-old mother of four who was knocked unconscious when a heavy American woman fell on top of her on a bus has been awarded more than £14,000 damages in the Circuit Civil Court.
Mr Justice Smyth, heard that Ms Sandra Bradley, of Priorswood, Co Dublin, suffered concussion and neck and back injuries. Mr Timothy Shee han, for Ms Bradley, told the court the accident was caused by a Dublin bus being forced to brake violently to avoid a motorcyclist.
The award was made against the motorcyclist, Mr Darren Ward, of Cabra West, Dublin.
