A woman told gardai she had been waiting to deliver an order for "speed" when they arrested her in Drogheda in the early hours of September 3rd last year. Drogheda District Court was told that Ms Laura Corrigan, with an address at Thomas Street had been using drugs for three years and dealing for four months when she was arrested.

While she was in garda custody, 20 ecstasy tablets were found concealed in her hairband. At her address gardai also found 60 ecstasy tablets and 28 packets of amphetamine speed. Judge Flann Brennan adjourned the case for medical reports.
