Employers across Ireland received information packs from the Equality Authority, and they are being urged to join in this year's Anti-Racist Workplace Week.
Seminars for employers are scheduled throughout the week to help raise awareness of workplace issues among line managers and personnel managers.
Dr Angela Kerins, chairwoman of the Equality Authority; Bob Collins, chief commissioner, Equality Commission for Northern Ireland; and Salome Mbugua, national director of the African Women's Network in Ireland, spoke at the Equality Authority's office in Dublin today.
The Anti-Racist Workplace Week will run from November 5th to 11th.
