A tiger is reported to be on the loose near Paris.
Police, on the ground and using helicopters, are searching the Seine-et-Marne area of the French capital after a local resident took a photograph of the animal.
Residents in the area have been told to remain indoors.
While there are reports that a circus was in the Seine-et-Marne area until recent days, it is believed all their tigers are accounted for.
