A 17-year-old youth was charged with murder at Limerick District Church yesterday. Mr Liam Keane, Singland Gardens, Bally simon, Limerick, was charged with the murder of Mr Eric Leamy (19), St Munchin's Street, St Mary's Park, at Lee Estate, Island Road, on August 28th.
In reply to the charge the youth said: "I do not understand."
He was remanded in custody until Wednesday next and was granted free legal aid.
