A Co Tyrone teenager yesterday admitted involvement in the disappearance of an Omagh care worker, Ms Sylvia Fleming (17), whose dismembered body was uncovered in the foundations of a house two years ago.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was due to go on trial today at Ballymena Crown court along with three others accused of conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

The teenager, a 15-year-old schoolboy when Ms Fleming's body was discovered eight weeks after she disappeared in April 1998, was put back for sentence when he also pleaded guilty to perverting the course of public justice.
