A 16-year-old youth has suffered serious hand injuries in an explosion at a garage in the North.
The victim was treated in hospital following the incident in Garron Heights, Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, last night.
Police believe he was alone when the explosion occurred.
British army explosives experts were today examining the scene.
