The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) still wants to speak to a number of youths after the death of 72-year-old Mr Owen Murphy in west Belfast, late on Thursday night.
A post mortem revealed that Mr Murphy died from a massive heart attack outside his home at Fort Street, despite earlier reports that one of a group of youths drinking near his home had struck him with a bottle.
Police said Mr Murphy's family was reassured that there was no evidence that any weapon or implement was used against him.
While the death was initially described as suspicious, the PSNI was satisfied that Mr Murphy, a widower, was not murdered.
Neighbours and a police source said that Mr Murphy suffered his heart attack after he "had words" with a number of youths gathered near his home. Police want to speak to the young people at the scene about the circumstances that prevailed before Mr Murphy died.
