Five youths, aged between 12 and 14, were rescued from the sea yesterday off Co Antrim.
The youths got into difficulty after their inflatable ring drifted out to sea off Carnlough beach yesterday afternoon.
They were seen clinging to the ring by a member of the public. They were 400 yards offshore, being swept out to sea by the wind and tide.
A helicopter and coastguard were alerted but the youths were taken to safety by an auxiliary coastguard officer using his own boat.
