An article in the edition of May 15th stated that the Government has transferred responsibility for dealing with compensation claims by gardai who allege they were injured by members of the public to the State Claims Agency. However, this transfer has not yet taken place. The Government has announced plans to transfer responsility but has yet to amend the legislation.
An article in Tuesday’s edition, concerning the ordination of deacons in the Catholic Church, said that one of the deacons, Jim Adams, was from Donnybrook. He is from Bonnybrook, Coolock, Dublin.
