An article in the edition of January 6th last, concerning Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, reported that this year’s budget for councillors’ expenses is €111,600 compared with €90,900 last year. The council has pointed out that the allocations headings have been changed so that the two figures are not comparable and the budget for councillors’ expenses has not been increased.
