The report headed "British Midland staff end strike" and the picture caption in yesterday's editions said Dublin Airport had closed for an hour on Monday. In fact, the airport remained fully operational during the solidarity protest by airport workers. The errors occurred in the editing process.
In yesterday's Rite and Reason column reference was made to "Karl Barth, the most famous of modern Reformed Lutheran theologians". Karl Barth was Reformed, not Lutheran.
In the editions of February 22nd, an article headed "How Myles na gCopaleen belled Schrodinger's cat" referred to Alfred O'Rahilly, professor of mathematical physics at UCC in the 1940s. The reference should have been to his brother, Thomas F. O'Rahilly, who was director of the School of Celtic Studies at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
