In last Saturday's Out of the Midwest column, a report headed "Burren being damaged by limestone removal" referred incorrectly to Michael Starrett as chief executive of Duchas. He is chief executive of the Heritage Council. And the On Stony Ground report was funded by the British Countryside Agency and the Heritage Council, not Duchas as stated. The errors occurred in the editing process.
