In Wednesday's editions a report headed "Smith parades Army's Ranger Wing in public" said Mr Joseph Dillon, spokesman for the 32-County Sovereignty Movement, was one of three men who had been charged with possession of almost a ton of explosives at Howth, Co Dublin. Mr Dillon was charged with possession of an explosive substance at Bettystown, Co Meath. The cases against all three were dropped last month when the Director of Public Prosecutions entered a nolle prosequi.
