The chief executive of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA), Mr Albert O Ceallaigh, who was quoted in the report "Practical test proposed for Leaving Cert" in Tuesday's editions, wishes to state that the NCCA has not made any proposal on continuous assessment in Leaving Cert science subjects to the Minister for Education.
