An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning an action taken by a Latvian woman and her Pakistani fiancee over a refusal to let them marry, said that the action was against the Limerick County Registrar and the Garda Síochána.
The County Registrar for Limerick has no role in the performance of marriage ceremonies and was not a party to the action. The Registrar for Births, Deaths and Marriages is the respondent in this case.
The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra provided the musical accompaniment to a recent production of Swan Lake, not the RTÉ Concert Orchestra as stated in last Saturday’s edition.
An article in last Monday’s edition wrongly identified the director of the Clondalkin Youth Band as Vincent Nolan. He is Vincent Dolan.
