An article in last Tuesday’s edition (December 14th, 2010), concerning the health budget, stated that it will be reduced by €746 million next year, a quarter of a billion. This should have said three-quarters of a billion.
An article in Tuesday’s edition (December 14th, 2010) carried a headline Legal fees for DPP cases rose €1.5 million in year to 2009. As the article made clear, there has been a reduction in the level of fees but an increase in the number of cases handled by the office.
