In an article in the edition of October 10th, concerning a claim of clerical sex abuse in the Diocese of Cloyne, it was wrongly reported that two women in their 40s have made a complaint to gardaí that they were sexually assaulted by two priests in the late 1980s when they were both aged 17.
In fact, the women have made a complaint that they were sexually assaulted by the two priests in the early 1980s and that they were both aged 13 at the time.
