In the interview with the judges for The Irish TimesTheatre awards in last Saturday's edition, it was stated that the Gate Theatre "chose to be excluded from the awards again".
This is the first year that the Gate has not participated in the awards. The error occurred in the editing process.
In a review of the book When the Shopping was Good: Woolworths and the Irish Main Streetby Barbara Walsh in last Saturday's edition, the author's surname was reported incorrectly in the text of the review.
Also, the founder of Woolworths was FW Woolworth and not FE Woolworth as stated.
In yesterday’s Life & Culture pages it was stated that “Blue Monday”, the third Monday in January that is supposedly the most depressing day of the year, would fall on Monday, January 24th.
In fact, it was yesterday.
