AN ARTICLE in yesterday’s edition,concerning fees paid by the Government on outside consultants, stated that Minister for Health Dr James Reilly spent €300,080 on a report on the capitalisation, authorisation and sale of the VHI which the Government then decided not to sell. In fact, by the time the report was commissioned, the Government had decided against the sale and the report was instead asked to examine options for rebalancing the Irish private health insurance market.
