A photograph in yesterday’s edition, relating to the campaign for the US presidency of Mitt Romney, carried an incorrect caption. The photograph was of an opponent of Mr Romney.
Bishop John Kirby, Bishop of Clonfert, representing Trócaire, was in attendance at the removal of the remains of the late Brian Lenihan. Bishop Raymond Field, who ministers in the parish area, was in attendance at the removal and funeral service. Fr Bruce Bradley and Fr Leonard Moloney, former principals of Belvedere College were also at the funeral. A wrong title was given for Tom Mahon, he is a former vice-principal.
